Scent

The aroma opens with notes of spices and pepper. This is followed by good intensity of black fruit, showing the fine concentration and body of the wine. The complexity is obvious: a bouquet of dried fruits and hazelnuts, layered with notes of exotic fruits. The aromas are particularly open and impressive.

Taste

On the palate, notes of candied fruit accompany hints of baked goods, brioche and cocoa, broad and mouth-filling. Delightfully structured, the large proportion of Pinot Noir imparts the roundness and gravity one would expect from this cuvée. Despite the wine's relative youth, it begins to show some smoky heaviness and good grip with broad, rich and long-lasting acidity. Full-bodied and generous, the wine climaxes with stunning length.
