Color

The color of the drink is dark, honey.

Scent

Very distinctly oily, with hints of extra virgin olive oil, sweet rosehip, aromatic herbs (coriander and sage) and a hint of smoked lemon zest. A splash of water releases more oiliness like linseed oil, a delicate waxiness and a burst of fragrant carbolic soap, and finally a whiff of crème brûlée.

Taste

The soft, buttery, enveloping texture leads into a rich, sweet, smoky flavor with hints of oakmoss, molasses, aniseed candy and a lovely, sweet, woody balsamic flavor. This is followed by smoked apricots and eucalyptus oil. Finally, there is a long, sweet-smoky aftertaste with notes of cumin, cardamom and a slight hint of coconut.
