Lots of red wine on the front end. Sherry, chocolate, spicy oak, cinnamon, nutmeg (Dee ) Notes of dyed teak wood with candied cherries, red licorice, apple butter and pumpkin bread.(Spey) Somewhat brighter tones of citrus zest, red grapefruit with sugar, lots of red wine and spicy oak. (Tay) Marzipan, baked apple with cinnamon and brandy, accompanied by subtler caramel notes and less oak.(Tweed)

The taste of each bottle is as unique as the aroma. Can be found on the palate as notes of walnut, date biscuits, a touch of bitter zest, notes of squash bread, bitter chocolate with pieces of toffee, a little red grapefruit, hot cocoa with marshmallows mixed with hints of sherry.
