It is recommended to decant the wine at least an hour before consumption. Opus One is served with mature cheeses, dishes of noble game, duck and lamb, as well as dense dishes of fine cuisine.
The wine is a deep red-garnet color.
In an elegant, noble bouquet, the aromas of dark fruits with a dominant blackberry are emphasized by notes of earth, chocolate, espresso coffee and rose petals.
Rich wine with a silky texture and pleasant minerality in the taste shows a wonderful balance of fruit base, velvety tannins and well-integrated acidity.
