An opulent yet tensioned young red with blackberries, violets and black olive skin character. Full-bodied. But has so much energy and focus. Goes on for minutes. A blend of merlot and sangiovese. Best after 2028.
Wine Spectator
This is opulent and dense, setting the stage for black cherry, blackberry, wild rosemary and iron aromas and flavors. A lively version, with fine balance overall and a tannic grip on the lingering finish. Sangiovese and Merlot. Best from 2026 through 2035. 2,833 cases made, 270 cases imported.
