The color is deep mahogany with copper-ruby reflections.

Scent

The aroma is powerful, rich and elegantly layered: notes of candied dates, figs and dark chocolate are combined with spicy shades of cloves, tobacco, old leather and noble wood; there is also vanilla, orange peel and warm pastry.

Taste

The taste is full-bodied, oily and concentrated: ripe dried fruits, muscovado, spices (cinnamon, nutmeg), espresso and caramel crust; the tannins are soft, the texture is round and enveloping, with an endlessly long finish filled with noble wood bitterness and sherry sweetness.
