Description
Compatibility
A classic match for red meat: grilled and roast beef, lamb, game and venison. It also stands up to rich pasta and braised dishes, and to aged hard cheeses such as Pecorino Toscano and Parmigiano.
Color
Deep ruby red with garnet highlights at the rim.
Scent
Very evident notes of plum and morello cherry typical of Brunello, with a light spiciness and well-integrated oak.
Taste
On the palate it expresses great vivacity and energy, carried by firm but ripe tannins. Long and savoury on the finish.
