Description
Compatibility
Enjoy neat or with a drop of water. Pairs well with dark chocolate, fruit cake, aged hard cheeses and smoked meats.
Color
Golden amber, with no added colouring.
Scent
Chocolate, caramel and gentle wood smoke, with baked apples, sultanas and malty notes.
Taste
Rich and rounded: sultanas and raisins give way to spicy peat smoke, baked apple, cinnamon, mint and chocolate-covered liquorice. The finish brings fruit cake, menthol and cocoa. Matured in first-fill sherry and bourbon casks, with more sherry influence than the 10 Year Old; bottled at 43%.
