In the glass, this wine shimmers with a rich ruby red color with purple highlights.
Scent
The varietal bouquet bewitches the nose. The rich aroma reveals itself with currants, black cherries and red plums, perfectly complemented by herbs of Provence.
Taste
On the palate, the aroma continues. The red stone berries are perfectly complemented by notes of boys, pencil, pipe tobacco and tea leaves. The tannins are very fine-grained - almost powdery. They contribute to the lively character of this South African red wine. The solid acid and smoky tones of cedar wood won't sink. The concentrated ending is surprisingly long.
