It has a deep amber color with golden reflections.

Scent

On the nose, the first impression is of course one of sharp smoke, intense but not overpowering the other flavours, not too distantly guarded by notes of shortbread and custard, with a hint of pepper in the background and a balsamic finish. this makes us think of licorice root. There is also a fruity note of plum and peach and a hint of lemon zest.

Taste

On the palate, after a noticeably spicy start, the centerpiece is a mix of creamy (custard) and fruity (yellow apple, yellow peach and melon mirage) with a hint of nutmeg that opens the door to notes of nutmeg. The finish is of medium length, still quite peppery, with gentle kisses of smoke and languid caresses of fruit.
