Chateau Angelus Hommage a Elisabeth Bouchet 2022 2.5 kg

An ultra-rare wine dedicated to Elisabeth Bouchet, who played an important role in the estate's history at the beginning of the 20th century. It was in that period that Maurice de Bouard de Laforest significantly expanded the estate's vineyards and planted Cabernet Franc - the variety historically known there as Bouchet. It is produced only in the best years and exclusively from 100% Cabernet Franc from a single plot of just 0.5 hectares, planted with vines more than 70 years old on clay-limestone slopes. The 2022 harvest was only the fifth release, and total production came to around 2478 bottles. Each bottle is numbered and sealed with natural beeswax from the estate's own hives, underlining the artisanal and limited character of the release.
