James Suckling
Black berries and black plums on the nose with some tobacco leaf, graphite and bitter chocolate. It’s focused on the palate, with firm tannins that melt and relax into the black fruit. Medium-bodied and well-structured. Mineral at the end.
Wine Spectator
Modest in scale, but fresh and focused, with a pretty beam of cassis and blackberry fruit speckled with a savory edge. Ends with light floral and red tea notes, showing sneaky overall length too. Drink now through 2035. 1,900 cases made, 200 cases imported.
