Description
Compatibility
Made for roast and grilled red meat — lamb, beef, venison — and equally at home with duck, mushroom dishes and aged hard cheeses such as Comte. Decant before serving.
Color
Deep garnet-red with a bright, still-youthful rim.
Scent
An attractive minty bouquet over a mixture of red and black fruit, laced with cedar, graphite and a subtle marine note.
Taste
Medium- to full-bodied, built on the 75% Cabernet Sauvignon core of the blend with 20% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc. Fine-grained tannins, impressive tension and the wonderful freshness that marks the 2010 vintage in Pauillac, closing on a long, firm finish.
