A wine that vibrates with energy and character. Aromas of red berries, bark, violets, lavender, sea salt and chalk. It’s dense and full-bodied with a big palate, but it’s framed and gorgeous in the weightless finish. Perhaps the best wine ever from here? 99% merlot and 1% cabernet franc. Drinkable now, but better in two or three years.

Ripe dark berries-blackcurrant, blueberry, and plum-floral violets, dark spices, and tobacco, with subtle hints of licorice and vanilla.
Taste
The palate opens with concentrated dark fruits (blackcurrant, plum), fading into warm, spicy, and chocolatey tones. The tannins are dense but very subtle, the acidity is fresh and emphasizes the freshness of the fruit, and the finish is long with light woody accents.
