James Suckling
Aromas of crushed blackcurrants and cherries with dried Provence herbs, lavender, raw walnuts and spiced cedar. Graphite, too. Full and muscular with a broad-shouldered, velvety tannin structure that goes on for minutes. Textured and chalky with a lingering finish. Very polished. 55% cabernet sauvignon, 40% merlot and 5% petit verdot. Try after 2027.
Wine Spectator
Open-knit and direct, with a friendly display of plum and cassis notes carried by a polished structure. Ends with light violet and singed vanilla details. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Drink now through 2034. 26,000 cases made.

Compatibility
This wine pairs well with red meat dishes such as roast beef, lamb and aged cheeses.
Color
A deep purple-garnet color with rich nuances that highlight the density and maturity of the wine.
Scent
A rich and multi-layered bouquet with notes of blackcurrant, dried flowers, freshly sharpened pencil and minerals. There are also hints of raspberry, blackberry, fresh black berries, pencil shavings, dried roses and charcuterie with a hint of Provencal herbs.
Taste
A full-bodied, structured wine with velvety tannins and bright acidity. The taste includes notes of blackcurrant, cherry, dried Provencal herbs, lavender, walnut and spicy cedar. The texture is dense and chalky with a lingering aftertaste.
