The wine goes well with both exquisite French cuisine, such as foie gras, truffles, white veal, and simpler dishes of Spanish and Italian cuisine: pasta, Neapolitan roast, Spanish chicken in sherry and others. Gorgonzola and other blue cheeses, as well as Parma prosciutto, are ideal as appetizers.
