Compatibility
The wine is amazing both in its pure form as an aperitif, and in combination with dishes of Spanish, Italian cuisine: pasta, roast in Neapolitan, chicken in sherry in Spanish and others. It is also served with more sophisticated French cuisine: foie gras, truffles and white veal. Petrus makes a wonderful pair with ham, Gorgonzola cheese and other blue cheeses.

The wine has a deep inky purple color.
Scent
The wine conquers with a luxurious, multifaceted aroma, woven from notes of raspberries, strawberries, undergrowth, graphite and truffles.
Taste
The wine shows a generous, refined, rich taste with hints of plum, raspberry, graphite, toast, black pepper and sage, with incredibly integrated tannins and a long, seductive finish.
