This block of duck foie gras, with its assertive character and creamy texture, comes from a duck farm in the southwest of the country. Carefully prepared according to the famous recipe of the Comtesse du Barry, with just the right amount of salt and pepper, it can be consumed simply as an aperitif with a sweet white wine, such as Sainte-Croix-du-Mont-Derenoncourt. Also ideal for making foie gras.
