This is a lovely whisky neat or on the rocks.
Color
This whisky is a lovely amber color.
Scent
There is a vegetal richness to this nose when it really opens up, think of freshly dug cabbage still covered in soil, it is not at all unpleasant and adds another dimension and hidden complexity to an otherwise very sweet nose.
Taste
Ginger appears on the palate, joined by a bit of cinnamon, giving a soft warmth, more of a tingle than a strong heat, soon followed by a hint of burnt match sulphur that seems a little out of place.
