The Dalmore is renowned for its mature, chocolate-and-orange style and its virtuoso work with Gonzalez Byass sherry casks. Ageing and maturation took place in Matusalem Oloroso sherry casks, thanks to which notes of orange zest, chocolate, dates and old oak appear. The name highlights the 1974 vintage, so the bottle is of interest as a reflection of a specific production period.
