Dom Perignon P2 Rose 2000 shows a mature and deeper interpretation of Dom Perignon Rose. After about 16 years on the lees, the Champagne has acquired a complex, multi-layered character, a creamy texture and a rare harmony of maturity and freshness. The 2000 harvest in Champagne was not an easy one: cool, rainy spells alternated with heat and storms, but sunny weather at the end of August and during the harvest allowed the grapes to reach outstanding ripeness and concentration. That is why P2 Rose 2000 combines richness and maturity with remarkable freshness. Dom Perignon releases Rose P2 only for the few vintages capable of revealing exceptional potential after long ageing, so every bottle has special collectible value.

Compatibility

Ideal with tuna, sea urchin, langoustines, duck, black truffle dishes and aged cheeses. Its saline minerality, deep texture and mature character beautifully highlight iodine, creamy and spicy notes in food.
