Dom Perignon Rose 2003 is made exclusively from grapes of the 2003 harvest - one of the most extreme in the history of Champagne. After the spring frosts the region went through record summer heat, which led to one of the earliest harvests, yet in spite of this the champagne turned out with a rare combination of concentration, freshness and depth. Long ageing on the lees gives the wine complexity, a silky texture and harmony. The high proportion of Pinot Noir shapes the rich fruit profile and the fine tannic structure, while Chardonnay adds freshness, minerality and elegance. The Rose is released in considerably smaller quantities than the classic Brut and is considered one of the rarest and most sought-after cuvees of the House, while the Luminous version features the signature LED-lit label and is perfectly suited to parties or as an original gift.

  • Compatibility

The rich style of this champagne goes superbly with seared tuna, lobster, duck breast, veal with a berry sauce, black truffle dishes and aged cheeses. Thanks to its expressive structure and spicy, fruity character, it also accompanies Asian dishes of moderate spiciness and sauces based on citrus or berries beautifully.

  • Color

Deep salmon-pink colour with copper highlights.

  • Scent

The deep, expressive nose opens with shades of ripe strawberry, fig, redcurrant and rose petals. With aeration, complex notes of tea, dried flowers, spices, leather and light mineral nuances appear.

  • Taste

A full-bodied, multi-faceted champagne with a silky texture and beautifully integrated acidity. The palate reveals shades of ripe strawberry, redcurrant, blood orange, fig, spices and mineral nuances with fine iodine accents.
