Description
Compatibility
Serve neat at room temperature (20–22 °C); at cask strength a few drops of water open it up. Good with dark chocolate, dried fruit and a mild cigar.
Color
Deep mahogany.
Scent
Orange and citrus peel, vanilla, floral sweetness and sharp oak spice.
Taste
Dark, jammy fruit – dates, ripe mango and melon – with exotic spice and pepper, and a long, warming spicy finish. Single cask matured in American oak wine barriques and bottled at cask strength; named the World's Best Single Malt at the World Whiskies Awards 2015. This cask is bottled at 56.3% ABV.
