What sets Kozue apart is the use of Japanese umbrella pine (koyamaki). The company proudly claims that Kozue is the world's first gin to use koyamaki. This gin contains several native plants from Wakayama Prefecture, where it is produced, including mandarin peel, lemon peel, and sanso. The juniper used is imported from Europe. The aroma brings abundant pine and pepper spices.
Taste
The taste reveals citrus, pine, and spicy notes. It is very soft and drinkable.
