Krug Grande Cuvee Brut 170th Edition Magnum 3.5 kg
Krug Grande Cuvee Brut 170th Edition Magnum is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
Krug Grande Cuvee 170th Edition is built around the 2014 harvest and is a blend of 195 wines from 12 vintages (1998-2014). The champagne consists of 51% Pinot Noir, 38% Chardonnay and 11% Meunier, with around 45% reserve wines providing the signature depth and complexity of the Krug style. Each plot is vinified separately, and after blending the champagne is aged for about seven years on the lees, acquiring a multi-layered aroma, creamy texture and exceptional elegance. Each release of Krug Grande Cuvee has its own Edition number rather than a vintage, since every new version is considered an independent cuvee with a unique composition and character.
James Suckling
This is full-bodied and very rich with lots of dried and fresh lemons with lemon curd and delicate Italian croissant. Fine and flavorful. Drink or hold.
Wine Spectator
A lovely, mouthwatering Champagne, with a vivid and finely detailed panoply of baked nectarine, lime blossom, ground coffee, mandarin orange peel, candied ginger and salted almond notes set in a lithe, limber frame. Seamlessly knit, with a sense of buoyant vitality, this has a harmonious, elegant frame for the richly expressive flavor range. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier.
