Description
Compatibility
This is a great whisky neat or on the rocks.
Color
Its color is deep gold.
Scent
A fair amount of sandalwood, campfires, ash and smoked fish. A whisper of almond paste, as well as resinous peat, salty Dutch licorice and gypsum. There are also some roasted meat and burlap aromas.
Taste
Sweet but also aggressive. Syrupy vanilla with hot chilli, pepper and ginger. And then a little iodine, as well as lots of olive brine, some TCP and asphalt. Quite a catchy whisky.
