Macallan Royal Marriage 70cl is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
The Macallan Royal Marriage is a rare commemorative single malt released by The Macallan to celebrate the 2011 wedding of Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales. Produced in limited quantities, the whisky became part of The Macallan’s historic collectible editions dedicated to major events within the British royal family. Matured spirit from European sherry-seasoned oak casks was selected to reflect the house’s classic style of depth and elegance. The presentation features official royal wedding-inspired elements, making the bottle highly desirable among collectors of royal memorabilia and rare Macallan releases. Royal Marriage remains one of the most iconic commemorative bottlings of the modern Macallan era.
Whiskey Advocate
Rising above the tat issued to celebrate the nuptials of Prince William and Kate Middleton was this extremely limited (1,000 bottles) release from The Macallan. The nose is a mélange of rich fruits, marzipan, and beeswax/resin but it lifts with a drop of water to show apricot and heavy florals. The palate isn't overly grippy, with more orange peel, almond, and characteristic oiliness. A malty/nutty smooth finish makes this a great one.
