Made for rich, slow-cooked and roasted red meat - lamb, beef, game and duck - and for mature hard cheeses. Decant at least an hour before serving; the magnum format ages more slowly and rewards the extra air.

Blueberry, cassis and blackberry, lifted by rose, anise and baking spice.
Taste
A creamy entry opens into layers of concentrated black fruit with a juicy freshness, carried by velvety tannins to a long finish with hints of dark chocolate. A blend of 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc, 6% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot and 2% Malbec from Oakville, aged 17½ months in new French oak. Presented in a 1.5-litre magnum.
