Description
Compatibility
Serve at 18–20 °C with roast beef, game, lamb with Mediterranean herbs or aged pecorino.
Color
Deep ruby with violet tints and a lighter rim.
Scent
Ripe cherry, mint, dark chocolate and a touch of violet.
Taste
Juicy entry, ripe tannins and fresh acidity, with a spicy finish. A blend of Cannonau, Carignano and Bovale from vines around 80 years old at Tanca S'Arai in Serdiana, southern Sardinia; each variety is vinified separately in stainless steel, then aged about 10 months in French oak. 14% ABV.
