Color
The color is a rich amber.
Scent
On the soft nose, the overall impression is ‘lush’, meaning promising, with a light vanilla sweetness, a hint of treacle and some cereal, but also complex and well integrated, with fruit and nutty notes to explore. The top notes suggest a light vanilla sponge with a buttery glaze; this aroma intensifies as it develops; underneath lie notes of ripe peach and white chocolate. All of these notes are subtle and restrained.
Taste
Smooth and creamy in texture and sweet on the palate, with a vanilla glaze before a spicier complexity brings a balancing richness. More vanilla notes rise above the deep fruitiness in the middle, and the sweetness persists throughout. It is very attractive to drink, either neat or with a drop of water, which softens and sweetens it.
