Springbank 25 Year Old 1990 is an independent bottling from Kingsbury's Sar Obair series — Gaelic for "masterpiece", the label reserved for the bottler's most exceptional casks. Distilled at Springbank in Campbeltown in 1990 and matured for 25 years, it was bottled at cask strength of 53.3% ABV in a limited run of just 201 decanters. Springbank is one of the last distilleries in Scotland to carry out every stage of production on site, from floor malting to bottling, and its old vintages are among the most sought-after single malts for collectors.
