About Tanqueray Alcohol Free

Tanqueray is produced in Scotland. This brand competes quite successfully with the English brand Gordon's. It's a true "battle of the titans" for the top spot in this niche of the spirits market. The company itself claims that it is a truly unique top-quality pink gin.

The company that now produces Tanqueray 0.0 began operations in 1835. Before opening their own distillery, Charles Tanqueray and his brother worked at the London distillery Curries. This helped them master all the nuances of producing flavored spirits. By the time they opened their own distillery, this family had collected dozens of alcohol recipes and developed his own distillation system. This helped the company's founders quickly become leaders in the production of Tanqueray gin and other spirits.

In 1941, the distillery building was destroyed by an air strike. Almost nothing survived except the legendary Old Tom still. Incidentally, it's still in operation today. It's become a symbol of the brand. After the war, the company moved from England to Scotland. The still, naturally, was also installed in the new location.
