James Suckling
The aromas of red fruits with nutmeg and cinnamon come through clearly as well as notes of light cedar. It’s full-bodied with a tight and focused palate and very, very polished tannins. They feel lightly powdery with good tension before the long and vivid finish. Better after 2027.
Wine Spectator
Lush and wrapped in an embrace of toasty oak, featuring plum, blackberry, blueberry and bacon fat aromas and flavors. This dense, powerful red finds a nice equilibrium between its components through the fine, salty, mineral finish. Best from 2026 through 2038. 292 cases made, 60 cases imported.
