Here’s a flamboyant red with serious structure. The berry and currant aromas blend with multifaceted nuances, both from the fruit and the oak, ranging from red and black licorice to spiced bun and black cardamom. Full-bodied with well-integrated, velvety tannins and a long, firm but poised finish. A blend of 15 indigenous and international varieties, 11 red and four white. Serious Veneto red! Drinkable now, but wiser to wait a few more years.
